SANTA ROSA COUNTY, FL - An escapee from the Houghton County Jail who escaped custody twice in the last month is back in custody. According to ABC 10, the Santa Rosa County, Florida, Sheriffs Department apprehended Saatio late Sunday night after receiving a tip from a citizen about a suspicious person walking in a wooded area. When he was apprehended about 4-hours later, deputies searched him and found two makeshift handcuffs keys in his socks. He is currently lodged in the Santa Rosa County jail under close watch.
Saatio had originally escaped from the Houghton Count jail in June of 2015.
