MADISON, WI-- The Alpha man accused of killing an Iron County woman in an attempted murder/suicide remains in Wisconsin.
Alfred Saario, 65, is a suspect in the shooting death of Jamie Lee James, 29, of Alpha. He was found at the scene with severe facial injuries and taken to a Madison hospital. After he recovered, police arrested Saario and lodged him in the Dane County Jail.
An extradition hearing to bring Saario back to Michigan to face charges has not yet been set.
