Marquette robbery suspects charged in Escanaba robbery

ESCANABA, MI--   Formal charges have been filed for three people suspected of armed robbery in Escanaba in August.

The Escanaba Department of Public Safety says Tristen Snow, Jaccob Jones, and Jordan Steinhausen, all of Escanaba, are suspects in the robbery of the Quality Inn and Suites on August 15.  The three were arrested on multiple-count felony warrants related to armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

They all remain lodged in the Marquette County Jail while they face court proceedings related to armed robberies committed in Marquette County on August 16.

Public Safety has determined a fourth person is connected to the Escanaba incident.  He has been arrested for accessory after the fact and is jailed in Wisconsin pending extradition to Escanaba.  His name will not be released until his arraignment in 94th District Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
