Several nabbed in Manistique drug bust

MANISTIQUE, MI--  Four Manistique residents were arrested Thursday, following a six-month drug investigation by Manistique Public Safety and the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Office.  

Katy McGinnis, 30, was charged with two counts of delivery of Suboxone and being a habitual offender, 2nd offense.

Shane Henry, 43, was charged with delivery of Suboxone and being a habitual offender, 4th offense.

Daniel Baker, 47, was charged with delivery of 50 grams or less of a mixture containing Vicodin, delivery of Suboxone, and being a habitual offender, 3rd offense.

Dimitri Mishko, 27, was charged with delivery of Suboxone.

During the course of the investigation officers also arrested Angie Gwaltney, 26, for delivery of methamphetamine.

McGinnis, Henry, Baker, and Mishko remain lodged in the Schoolcraft County Jail. A preliminary exam is set for February 28 in 93rd District Court. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
