PEMBINE, WI (AP)--   Authorities say a man has been arrested in Marinette County for fatally shooting his wife.

The Sheriff's Office says the 55-year-old man called deputies to their home on Petite Lane in Pembine Sunday about 11 p.m. Officials say the man told dispatchers he had shot his wife earlier in the evening and that she was dead.

Deputies arrived and found the 63-year-old victim. The husband was arrested and taken to the Marinette County Jail.

Investigators say the shooting is an isolated incident.
