Iron Mountain police continue their search for the suspect in a domestic assault involving a knife. Officers say the assault happened Monday night at a residence on the 400 block of East Smith Street. The female victim received non-life threatening injuries in the assault. Police say the 23-year old male suspect left the scene before officers arrived… at about 8pm… and remains at large. Formal charges have not yet been filed by the Dickinson County Prosecutor. No further information has been released at this time.
The IMPD was assisted by the Michigan State Police.
