Negaunee police identify robbery suspect

NEGAUNEE, MI--   An Ishpeming Township man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of Irontown Pasties in Negaunee.

Patrick Earl Fisher, 37, is accused of entering the restaurant Tuesday evening, brandishing a handgun, and fleeing the scene with money from the register. He was identified and taken into custody early Wednesday morning at an Ishpeming Township residence.

Fisher is charged with one count of armed robbery. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Negaunee City Police at 475-4154.
