Ironwood man arrested for stealing from cars, homes, businesses

IRONWOOD, MI--   An Ironwood man is jailed on suspicion of committing several thefts in the area.

Last week the Ironwood Public Safety Department received a complaint that a tool bag had been taken from a vehicle. Officers interviewed a 52-year-old resident who had been seen in the area. A search of his home uncovered the tools and other items reported stolen from a business and a local residence.

The man is charged with breaking and entering with intent to steal; third-degree home invasion; breaking and entering a vehicle with intent to steal; three counts of receiving and concealing stolen property; and malicious destruction of property.

Police seized other items that are believed to be stolen. Anyone missing property is asked to contact Ironwood Public Safety.
