SAULT STE. MARIE, MI-- A Sault Ste. Marie man has been arrested on various drug charges.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted a traffic stop Tuesday at the direction of the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Team. The driver was suspected of trafficking narcotics from the Detroit area to the Soo.
James Robinson, 29, was arrested on narcotics charges. A search of his vehicle turned up cocaine, heroin and a scale.
Robinson was charged with delivery/manufacture of Suboxone, possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession with intent to deliver cocaine. He’s also charged with being a habitual offender—2nd offense.
