Man shoots neighbor's house in Stannard Township

STANNARD TOWNSHIP, MI--   An Ontonagon County man is jailed for firing shots into his neighbor’s house.

Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post say the incident happened Saturday around 4 a.m. at a residence in Stannard Township. Troopers say a 67-year-old Bruce Crossing man fired into his neighbor’s home. Even though multiple rounds entered the residence, the neighbor was not injured.

MSP detectives and the forensic lab in Marquette were called to the scene to assist in the investigation. The suspect was arrested for felony assault with a firearm and reckless discharge of a firearm.

No other details have been released at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
