Menominee suspects charged wtih drug crimes

MENOMINEE, MI— A couple of Menominee residents are jailed, after a search warrant was executed by the County and City-Wide Drug Team last week.

On Thursday Nicholas Rivard, 36, and Katelyn Rivard, 31, were arrested.

Nicholas Rivard is charged with two counts of delivery of meth, two counts of delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver meth, maintaining a drug house, possession of a Schedule-5 narcotic, and possession of stolen property.

Katelyn Rivard is charged with delivery of meth, maintaining a drug house, and possession of analogues with a prescription.

Nicholas Rivard’s bond is set at $100,000, while Katelyn’s is set at $50,000.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
