Marquette County fugitive sought after she cuts off tether a second time

MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a wanted fugitive.

On April 13th of this year, Chenoa Rae Phillips, 19, was arrested and lodged in the Marquette County Jail on charges related to absconding from felony bond, removing her GPS tether, and resisting and obstructing an officer.

On October 18th Phillips was released on a personal recognizance bond on the condition she be released directly to a treatment facility and she wear a tether. On the 26th she removed the tether and fled the facility.

Felony warrants for absconding and tampering with an electronic device are out for Phillips.
