Marquette County hit and run suspect sought by MSP

MARQUETTE, MI— Troopers from the Negaunee Post are searching for a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run near Trenary earlier this month.

It happened December 5th around 3:40 p.m. on US-41 near M-67. The suspect vehicle was southbound in the northbound lane when it struck a silver and blue Nissan passenger car occupied by three people, including a child in a car seat.

The suspect vehicle is described as a small white passenger car. The driver was described as a white male wearing a red jacket. The vehicle likely sustained damage to the driver’s side, including paint transfer from the silver and blue vehicle it struck.
