Florida man wanted for murder linked to Western UP towns

SARASOTA, FL— The Sarasota, Florida Police Department is looking for a murder suspect with ties to the Upper Peninsula.

Johnny Evans, 22, is wanted in connection with a January 6^th killing in the city. He has also been linked to Bessemer and Wakefield.

Evans is a 6’1”, 170-pound Black male who is considered armed and dangerous.
