GIANT nabs two on meth-related charges in Iron County, WI

OMA, WI— Two Iron County, Wisconsin residents were arrested by the Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics Team on drug charges last week.

For several months, GIANT had been gathering information about suspected sales and use of meth at a residence in Oma, Wisconsin. During the investigation officers executed controlled buys of crystal meth. A search of the residence uncovered meth, marijuana, a firearm and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested George Clark, 35, and Kristi Sordahl, 39. Clark is charged with four counts of delivery of meth and one count each of possession with intent to deliver meth, keeper of a drug house, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sordahl was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both remain lodged in the Iron County, Wisconsin jail.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
