Stephenson duo arrested on drug, explosives charges following drug investigation

STEPHENSON, MI— Two Stephenson residents were arrested Sunday, following an investigation by the Menominee County Sheriff's Office into the sale of cocaine.

Deputies and detectives with the Menominee County/City-Wide Drug Team executed a search warrant at a residence. They arrested a 42-year-old man and 42-year-old woman on charges of delivery of cocaine, maintaining a drug house, possession of a Schedule 4 narcotic, felon in possession of ammunition, and possession of a bomb/explosive device.

They remain lodged in the Menominee County Jail.

The Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group with the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and Marinette Police Department assisted with the investigation, along with the Hannahville Police Department.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
