UPDATE: Suspect in Green Bay homicide, Iron County attack in custody

UPDATE, 8/4/22: Michigan State Police say Caleb Anderson remains in custody in Alabama, where he’s being investigated as a suspect in a second homicide and arson.

Officials say he will face charges in Alabama and Wisconsin before he’s extradited to Michigan.

ALABAMA— A man suspected in a Green Bay homicide and an Iron County, Michigan attack has been found in Alabama.

Michigan State Police say the Iron County Prosecutor’s Office issued a felony warrant for the arrest of Caleb Scott Anderson, who is in custody. Anderson is the suspect in an attack on a teen girl in Gaastra on Monday morning. He’s also the suspect in a Tuesday homicide on Packerland Drive in Green Bay.

Brown County has also issued a felony warrant for his arrest.

Detectives from the Michigan State Police have been working with Green Bay Police, as well as additional local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in these cases. Both incidents remain under investigation.
