ELY TOWNSHIP, MI— An Ely Township man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office arrested 73-year-old Bruce Ilves Wednesday on a 2-count felony warrant for 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct.
Officials conducted an investigation and found Ilves had contact with a child less than 13 years of age on two separate occasions earlier this year.
He remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
Ilves is being charged as a repeat offender. He served time in the Michigan Department of Corrections for the same offense in 2002.
