Getaway vehicle in Iron River robbery located

IRON RIVER, MI— The truck used in the robbery of an Iron River bank has been found.

The silver Chevy Silverado was located Tuesday and is being processed by the Michigan State Police.

The pickup was driven by a suspect who walked into the Flagstar Bank Monday around 9:24 a.m., wearing a yellow and black coat, a black hoodie, sunglasses, a gray and white scarf, dirty tan pants, and black gloves. They were carrying a black bag with a red stripe.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled out the north door to the parking lot and drove away in the Silverado.

The Iron River Police Department and FBI continue to investigate the case.
