Enbridge looking for suspects in St. Ignace fire

Enbridge

ST. IGNACE, MI— The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a fire last year at an Enbridge pipeline maintenance shop in St. Ignace.

The fire broke out at the shop and storage area in the early morning hours of August 31st. It involved several vehicles and equipment. The pipeline itself wasn’t affected.

Investigators are asking the public for help in identifying who might have set the fire or any other information about the incident.

The ATF is offering a $2,500 reward. A potential funding source would match that, for a total of up to $5,000.
