Vehicle stolen from Chocolay Township

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI— The Chocolay Township Police Department is looking for the public’s help in locating a stolen truck.

It went missing between Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m. on M-28.

The vehicle is a black, 2010 Chevy Silverado with an extended cab six-foot box. It has rust around the rear wheel wells and at the top of the windshield, no running boards, a missing Chevy emblem, and is missing part of the driver’s side grill.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
