AMBERG, WI— An Amberg, Wisconsin woman faces a murder charge in the death of her husband.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded Monday to a residence on Barker Road and found William Freed deceased. It appeared he died of a gunshot would.
Freed’s wife Lori was taken into custody on homicide charges. There were no other people present at the time of the incident.
The case remains under investigation. Final charges will be determined pending its outcome.
