IRON MOUNTAIN, MI— A Colorado man has been arrested for brandishing a firearm in the parking lot of an Iron Mountain fast-food restaurant.

City Police say Sunday around 11 a.m., a 59-year-old man got upset with employees at the restaurant and was seen with a handgun in the parking lot. The man got into his vehicle and drove off.

A short time later, the subject’s vehicle was found in the parking lot of a different restaurant. Iron Mountain Police officers entered the restaurant through a rear service door, found the suspect, and arrested him without incident.

Police recovered numerous Airsoft-type weapons during the investigation. The gun used in this incident had the orange tip removed.

The suspect was processed at the Dickinson County Jail and released on a $5,000 cash/surety bond. His arraignment is set for August 2.
