Two arrested after drug trafficking vehicle stopped in Marinette County

MARINETTE COUNTY, WI— Two men were arrested in Marinette County earlier this month, after several types of drugs were found in their vehicle.

On December 10th, members of the KIND Drug Team and Northeast County Drug Enforcement Group received information about an active drug trafficking vehicle. Marinette County deputies were able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop.

Arrested were Jeffery Ziolkowski, 34, and Zachary Clarke, 25. They’re charged with:

  • maintaining a drug trafficking place
  • possession with intent to deliver meth, more than 50 grams
  • possession with intent to deliver cocaine, 15-40 grams
  • possession with intent to deliver heroin, more than 50 grams
  • possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, more than 50 grams
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
