HANCOCK TOWNSHIP, MI— The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says an elderly man has been found dead in his Hancock Township home.
Tuesday around 10:30 a.m., deputies executed a wellbeing check and found the man deceased in the residence. They say there was evidence of foul play, but there’s no threat to the public.
Investigation into the case continues.
