Houghton County residents arrested for possession of child sexually abusive material

HOUGHTON, MI— A Laurium couple has been arrested for viewing child pornography.

The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against

Children Task Force says William Horner, 43, and Stacey Jean Horner, 42, were arrested after they viewed it on the internet. A search of their residence resulted in the seizure of digital evidence.

Both Horners are charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

They were arraigned in 97th District Court on Friday. A probable cause conference is scheduled for February 2nd.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
