Michigan State Police arrest Marquette suspect for child sexually abusive activity

MARQUETTE, MI— A Marquette man has been arrested by the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit on charges related to child pornography.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Aidan Keller, 19, after police discovered he was viewing child porn online. Officials found digital evidence after a search of his residence.

Keller is charged with three counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, seven counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

A preliminary exam is scheduled for Wednesday.

Keller faces up to 49 years in prison if convicted as charged.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
