Solar battery stolen from Thompson Township

THOMPSON TOWNSHIP, MI— Michigan State Police from the Manistique Outpost are investigating the theft of a solar panel battery from Thompson Township.

Troopers say the incident happened between April 10th and April 24th on Flodine Road.

It’s a gray, Battery EVO “Big Condor” model with a Battery EVO logo on the front. It’s approximately 34.8 inches high, 21 inches wide, 13.13 inches deep, and weighs 368 pounds.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the Manistique Outpost at 906-341-2102.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
