ISHPEMING, MI— A former Ishpeming Police officer has been charged with criminal sexual conduct.
WLUC-TV reports Travis Hardwicke, 28, was arraigned May 8th for felony 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct-force or coercion and a misdemeanor count of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Hardwicke was placed on administrative leave when officials learned of the allegations against him. Ishpeming Police Chief Chad Radabaugh contacted detectives with the Michigan State Police. Hardwicke was fired following their investigation.
A probable cause conference is set for May 23rd and a preliminary exam for June 12th in Marquette County District Court.
