ISHPEMING, MI— An Ishpeming woman has been arrested for stealing a Jeep.
The Ishpeming Police Department says the vehicle was stolen Thursday from the 300 block of South Lake Street. The incident was reported to authorities on Friday.
Police say a 40-year-old Ishpeming woman has since turned herself in at the Michigan State Police Manistique Outpost. She’s lodged in the Schoolcraft County Jail and is expected to be extradited to Marquette County to face charges.
Her name has not yet been released.
