MUNISING, MI— An inmate at the Alger Correctional Facility has been killed by another inmate.
On June 18, staff responded to a prisoner in need of emergency care. First aid was rendered and EMS contacted, but Drequan Glover, 31, was pronounced dead.
The Michigan Department of Corrections and Michigan State Police began an investigation into the incident. They determined a physical altercation not involving a weapon occurred between Glover and another prisoner before Glover was killed.
The incident remains under investigation.
