Peshtigo man arrested for possessing child sexually abusive material

PESHTIGO, WI— A Marinette County man has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography.

According to a criminal complaint issued by the District Attorney’s Office, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office informed the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office that suspected child sexual abuse material was downloaded to an identified IP address.

The address was linked to a Peshtigo residence occupied by Brett Mandli, 42. A search warrant executed at his residence on June 18 resulted in the seizure of multiple electronic devices.

Mandli was arraigned Tuesday on three counts of possession of child pornography.

The court ordered a $10,000 cash bond with conditions including no contact with minors.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
