Marinette man jailed for possession of child sexually abusive material

MARINETTE, WI— A Marinette man has been arrested on charges related to child pornography and drugs.

The County District Attorney’s Office says in July it received information that suspected Child Sexual Abuse Material was being downloaded at an address belonging to a Brandon Clark.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence and took electronic devices. An analyst with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation confirmed the presence of child pornography and virtual child pornography on one of the devices.

Clark was arraigned Wednesday. He’s charged with possession of child pornography, possession of virtual child pornography, and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. He remains lodged in the Marinette County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.

The Marinette Police Department and Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the case.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
