Marquette County deputies arrest WI man for Sands Township break-in

SANDS TOWNSHIP, MI— A Wisconsin man has been arrested in connection with a Sands Township breaking-and-entering incident.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched Tuesday around 7:35 a.m. to a location on Goodman Road, where they made contact with the 52-year-old man.

The suspect was arrested on numerous felony charges and lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were Michigan State Police, the Michigan DNR, the Marquette City Police K-9, and Anttila’s Towing.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
