Police discover numerous stolen items in Ishpeming man's home

ISHPEMING, MI— An Ishpeming man has been arrested for stealing property in Marquette.

On October 11, the Marquette Police Department received a report that a cell phone had been taken from a home on the 300 block of Pine Street. Officers traced the device to a residence in Ishpeming.

On October 25, detectives and Ishpeming officers executed a search warrant at a house on the 600 block of E Street in Ishpeming, where they found the stolen phone.

While searching the residence, detectives saw tools matching the description of items stolen the weekend of October 11 from a construction jobsite on the 400 block of E. Ridge Street in Marquette. Officers obtained another search warrant regarding the tools and recovered multiple stolen items.

Jamison Fisk, 29, of Ishpeming, was arrested on a parole detainer on October 25. On Tuesday and Wednesday, arrest warrants were issued for larceny in a building, larceny-$200 to $1,000, and two counts of receiving and concealing stolen property-$200 to $1,000.

Fisk remains lodged at the Marquette County Jail on an $11,000 bond.
