Bombing, shooting threats directed at Dickinson County bank

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI— Evacuations and lockdowns were ordered at First National Bank locations in Dickinson County Monday, following bomb and shooting threats.

The Iron Mountain Police Department says the threats were received around 10 a.m. The bank was evacuated and lockdown protocols were activated across all branches. Officers are working with bank security personnel and management to ensure the safety of customers and employees.

Officials increased police presence at other First National Bank locations, including the Kingsford and south branch offices.

Iron Mountain Police have identified and arrested a suspect. The incident remains under investigation and further details will not be released until charges are requested from the Dickinson County Prosecutor's Office.
