IRONWOOD, MI— Seven people were arrested in October, following an investigation by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team into the trafficking of controlled substances.
GIANT says the arrests for the transport and delivery of meth were made in Gogebic County and Iron County, Wisconsin.
The following people were taken into custody:
- Stephanie Wanden of Bessemer, MI—possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth in a park, maintaining a drug house
- Lucas Johnson of Duluth, MN—delivery of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth, possession of meth in a park
- Cheyenne Chastain of Duluth, MN—possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth in a park, possession of meth, delivery of meth
- Donald Morrison of Ironwood, MI—possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth in a park, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of meth, operating while intoxicated-3rd offense, maintaining a drug house, operating while license suspended/revoked
- Daniel Hecht of Bagley, WI—possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth
- Teresa Neri of Ironwood, MI—possession of meth with intent to deliver (conspiracy), possession of meth with intent to deliver, bond violations
- Kassy Double of Ironwood, MI—3 counts of delivery of meth with intent to deliver, 4 counts of possession of meth in a park, possession of meth, maintaining a drug house
The investigations are ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
