Auto break-in suspect sought by Chocolay Police

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, MI— The Chocolay Township Police Department is asking the public for help in finding the suspect in a number of auto break-ins.

The crimes occurred early Sunday morning in the area of US-41, about a mile south of the intersection with M-28.

Police believe the same person of interest may have been in the Marquette Township area late Sunday or early Monday.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
