Money laundering conspirators in sextortion case plead guilty

KERA News

Grand Rapids, MI – Five defendants charged with conspiring to launder proceeds for Nigerian sex extortionists have pleaded guilty. Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Andrew Birge announced the pleas yesterday.

The conspirators are accused of laundering the funds of sextortion victims, including 17-year old Jordan DeMay, of Marquette, who took his own life in 2022.

Those pleading guilty to the conspiracy charges include 29-year old Dinsimore Guyton Robinson of Huntsville, Alabama… 32-year old Kendall Ormand London of Lithonia, Georgia… 30-year old Brian Keith Coldmon, Jr, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia… 31-year old Jarell Daivon Williams, of McDonough Georgia… and 32-year old Johnathan Demetrius Green, of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

The conspiracy offense is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. The court will decide sentences upon consultation with federal sentencing guidelines and the individual circumstances.
