MARQUETTE, MI— An Ishpeming man faces charges related to child sexually abusive activity.
Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say Zachary Weisman, 24, was arrested when it was learned he had numerous explicit images of underage children. Troopers seized digital evidence after a search of his residence.
Weisman is charged with 15 counts of child sexually abusive activity and 15 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned Monday in Marquette District Court.
Weisman remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for May 15.
