Men arrested in Florence County in connection with Green Bay child's death

FLORENCE COUNTY, WI— Two Green Bay men have been arrested in Florence County in connection with the suspicious death of a child.

On June 22, the Green Bay Police Department responded to the 100 block of Alpine Drive on a report a two-year-old boy had life-threatening injuries. The child was taken to a local hospital, then transferred to a facility outside the area for further treatment. The boy died on June 24.

This past Friday, with the assistance of authorities from Florence County, Forest County, and Marinette County, police took a 21-year-old man and a 48-year-old man into custody in Florence County without further incident.

The case remains under investigation.
