Stephenson man sentenced for csc and resisting arrest

Menominee, MI - A Stephenson man has been sentenced for attempted criminal sexual contact and attempted assaulting, resisting and obstructing a police officer. Sixty-seven year old Guy James Homernick was sentenced to 60 days in jail last Thursday by 95th-A District Court Judge Robert J Jamo.
The charges stem from a September 14th incident at the Cenex gas station in Stephenson. The victim, a female cashier, reported the assault. Store surveillance showed Homernink forcefully pulling the victim over the counter, slapping her buttocks and grabbing her breasts. After a warrant was issued, deputies went to arrest Homernick, and he fought with them.
Homernick pleaded No Contest to the charges on October 22nd. Homerick is also required to register as a sex offender
