SAULT STE. MARIE, MI— A Sault Ste. Marie man faces up to 40 years in prison for receiving child sexually abusive material.
The Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force initiated an investigation into the activities of Wyatt McMahon, 27, after he allegedly received the material online. A search of his residence resulted in the seizure of digital evidence.
McMahon is charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned last Wednesday and released on a $25,000 bond.
