Suspect in Marinette County CSAM case named

MARINETTE, WI— The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a suspect arrested in February for possessing child sexually abusive material.

Following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January, detectives and the Marinette County Joint Special Response Team executed a search warrant in Peshtigo.

One suspect, William Anderson, 60, was taken into custody. He has been formally charged with 15 counts of possession of child sexually abusive material.

His next court date has not yet been set.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
