Gladstone suspect arrested in connection with child sexually abusive material

ESCANABA, MI— A Delta County man is jailed, following an investigation by the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Andrew Gigowski, 42, of Gladstone was arrested when it was learned he may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. A search of his residence resulted in the seizure of digital evidence.

Gigowski is charged with two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

He was arraigned Thursday in Delta County District Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
