Marinette County officers bust woman on drug charges

MIDDLE INLET, WI— An Iron Mountain woman has been arrested in Marinette County for possessing cocaine.

Sunday around 1:20 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on US-141 near Moonshine Hill Road in the town of Middle Inlet. They deployed K-9 Lobo. The dog located over 39 grams of cocaine, other drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

A 43-year-old Iron Mountain woman was arrested.

Numerous drug-related charges have been referred to the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
