Dickinson County, MI – An Iron Mountain man has been extradited from Alaska to face criminal sexual conduct charges in Dickinson County. State Police say the charges stem from an investigation into sexual abuse allegations on December 23rd of 2025. The suspect, 42-year-old Cory Conn, fled to Ketchikan, Alaska, where he was later located and arrested. He was extradited to Michigan and lodged in the Iron Mountain jail. Conn was arraigned on July 10th in 95th-B District Court on first and second degree criminal sexual conduct charges. His bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety, and he is scheduled to next appear in court on July 20th.
The MSP Iron Mountain Post thanks all those who assisted in the investigation, including the MSP Seventh District Fugitive Team, the MSP Traverse City Post, the Ketchikan, AK, District Attorney's Office, and assisting Alaska law enforcement agencies.
