MARQUETTE, MI— An Ishpeming Township man has been arrested for recording videos up the dresses of shoppers at Marquette Township stores.
On Tuesday, Nicholas Arcaro, 30, was arraigned on eight felony counts of capturing an image of an unclothed person, eight felony counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
The charges stem from an investigation completed by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office. A search of Arcaro’s residence led to the discovery of electronic devices containing several videos that Arcaro allegedly captured using a camera built into his shoe. He was arrested and eventually released on an $8,500 cash bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Department Store Loss Prevention and the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit assisted in the investigation.
