Two Menominee men arrested for possession of child sexually abusive material

MENOMINEE, MI— The Menominee Police Department, in affiliation with the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes unit, has arrested two Menominee men for possessing child sexually abusive material.

Search warrants were executed at the residences of Allen Kerby, 45, and Alexander Aikman, 28, both of Menominee, when it was learned they may be in possession of illicit content on the internet. Digital evidence was seized.

Kerby is charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material’ and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He’s currently on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry.

Aikman is charged with seven counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
