AAA: Michigan gas prices continue downward trend

(DEARBORN, Mich.) - Gas prices in Michigan are down 20 cents from a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.44 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 79 cents less than this time last month but still 18 cents more than this time last year. Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson for AAA-The Auto Club Group, says that as demand remains low and stocks grow, “drivers will likely continue to see pump prices decrease through this week.”

Currently the highest price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline is in Jackson and Traverse City at $3.64… and the lowest is in Detroit at $3.29 a gallon.
